Job Description

Role Summary

XRHealth is seeking a Health Coach to join our clinical services team. The Health Coach will empower patients to achieve health goals through motivational coaching, lifestyle education, and adherence support for XRHealth’s virtual reality–based care programs. This role is patient-facing, team-based, and technology-driven.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual health coaching sessions and messaging focused on patient engagement, adherence, and lifestyle behavior change.

  • Track patient progress via XRHealth's data portal and follow up with patients as needed. 

  • Document coaching sessions/communication in XRHealth systems according to compliance standards.

  • Follow escalation procedures if patient requires higher level of care. 

  • Collaborate with XRHealth clinicians to optimize patient outcomes (future task).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, psychology, kinesiology, nutrition, or related field (preferred).

  • NBC-HWC certification preferred (or eligibility within 12 months of hire).

  • Experience in coaching, wellness, or patient navigation strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse patient populations virtually.

  • Knowledge of behavior-change strategies and digital health technologies.

Base salary range: $50,000 – $60,000
